To ensure an effortless experience our team will be in contact promptly, prior to your tour discussing the pick up location. This location will be reflective of an effort to make your experience as seamless as possible.

If the weather isn't looking great on the day of your scheduled Flathead Lake boat tour, don't worry! We plan to operate in both rain or sunshine, as long as the conditions are safe for our passengers and crew. However, if there are dangerous conditions, such as high winds, thunderstorms, or other severe weather events, we will not operate the tour.
If there is inclement weather, we will closely monitor the conditions leading up to the tour, and if we determine that it is unsafe to operate, we will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule or refund your tour. Alternatively, if you would prefer to cancel your tour due to weather concerns, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs, keeping in mind that we will operate in rain or sunshine.
Please keep in mind that weather conditions on Flathead Lake can change quickly, so we recommend checking the weather forecast before your scheduled tour and dressing appropriately for the conditions. Fortunately, the summer months in NW Montana tend to be calm, dry, and sunny so don’t worry when planning months in advance. For your safety, we provide life jackets or Personal Floatation Devices (PFDs) for all persons on board our Flathead Lake boat tours, including kids and infants. Our life jackets are Coast Guard approved and regularly inspected to ensure they meet all safety requirements.
However, if you prefer to bring your own life jacket or PFD, you are more than welcome to do so. We recommend that you bring a properly fitted life jacket or PFD for yourself and your children, as it will ensure the best possible fit and comfort for your needs.
Please keep in mind that wearing a life jacket or PFD is not only important for your safety but is also required for all passengers on a boat. So, if you do not have your own, rest assured that we have enough life jackets or PFDs for everyone on board.

Please note that you will be responsible for your pet and any damages caused during the tour. We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience, so we ask that you bring only well-behaved pets and keep them under control throughout the tour.
Also, we love dogs and understand that they enjoy the water, but please keep in mind that not all dogs are comfortable in a boat or around new people. If you have any concerns about your pet's behavior or their ability to handle the boat tour, please contact us ahead of time, and we will be happy to discuss your options.

We understand that getting to our boat tour location can be challenging for some of our guests. Therefore, we offer pickup services at some cabin locations around Flathead Lake, depending on their location.
If you are staying in a cabin near the lake and would like to be picked up for our boat tour, please let us know your location, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note that additional fuel charges may apply for extended distances beyond our regular pickup locations.
However, we are always happy to help our guests make the most of their Flathead Lake experience, and we will work with you to find the best pickup and drop-off location that suits your needs and schedule.

Cancellation Policy for Flathead Lake Boat Tours
We at Flathead Lake Boat Tours value your time and understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may arise, preventing you from being able to attend your scheduled boat tour. In order to best accommodate our customers while still maintaining our operational expenses, we have established the following cancellation policy:
Cancellation more than 7 days in advance: If you cancel your reservation more than 7 days in advance of your scheduled boat tour, you will receive a full refund of your payment minus any transaction costs.
Cancellation within 7 days: If you cancel your reservation within 7 days of your scheduled boat tour, 50% of the total cost of your reservation will be taken as a cancellation fee, and the remaining 50% will be refunded to you.
Cancellation within 24 hours: If you cancel your reservation within 24 hours of your scheduled boat tour, you will be charged the full cost of your reservation and no refund will be given.
Inclement Weather: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your boat tour in the event of inclement weather, mechanical issues, or any other unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation by FLBT, you will be given the option to reschedule your tour or receive a full refund of your payment.
To cancel your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible via phone or email. We will confirm your cancellation and provide information on any applicable refund or cancellation fees.
